About this Talk

Spinal stimulation/spinal neuromodulation have been hot topics in pediatric PT the past few years. There are various methodologies going around and we are still trying to come to consensus of the safest/best approach for our patients. I will be discussing use of lower intensity pediatric spinal neuromodulation as described by Hastings-Edgerton with focus on alignment, proprioception and function resulting in significant functional gains for a 4-year-old with lower lumbar level spina bifida.
