About this Talk
Often babies and children come to pediatric therapy with regulation issues and/or do not want to be touched. The relationship between regulation and trauma will be discussed, particularly related to the effects on the autonomic nervous system. The anatomy and physiology of the autonomic nervous system and the polyvagal system will be simplified. Learn how to utilize the polyvagal theory when treating the child with trauma.
