A Talk by Jane Hamer
About this Talk
Findings from a Masters level study indicates that the primary focus of current of prevention of deformity within night-time postural care intervention does not fully meet the needs and priorities of caregivers.
Through exploration of postural care within the F-Words (and ICF) framework this presentation offers insight into redirecting care to include a focus on Functioning (Activity) and Friends (Participation), as well as Fitness (Body Structure and Function) that may better meet the needs of children and their families.
