About this Talk

This talk presents how we have involved lived experiences through innovative application of walk-along interviews and patient and public involvement and engagement with children with cerebral palsy and their families to learn more about fall risk in the real-world. The talk will discuss methods and outcomes from the beginning of a PhD project, where we identified a lack of knowledge around real-world falls, to how the outcomes of a PhD project are working towards identifying children with cerebral palsy at high fall risk and potential fall prevention techniques, which could inform future clinical practice.
