About this speaker
Roslyn Livingstone originally graduated as an occupational therapist in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1985, and completed her Master of Science in Rehabilitation through McMaster University in 2008. She has over 30 years’ experience working with children with multiple and complex disabilities (primarily in seating, mobility, communication, computer access, and complex power mobility assessment and provision) and spent more than 26 of those years working clinically in the Neuromotor program at Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Roslyn was a member of the organizing committee of the International Seating Symposium (Vancouver) from 2010 to 2020. She is currently an Investigator with BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of British Columbia. She collaborates with international colleagues on research and education primarily related to children with non-ambulant cerebral palsy, and has more than 30 peer-reviewed publications related to the use of adaptive seating, standing, stepping and power mobility devices.
