Noula Gibson, PhD is the Research Coordinator for the Department of Physiotherapy and works clinically in the Rehab Kids Cerebral Palsy Mobility service at Perth Children’s Hospital. Noula is a member of the BREATHE-CP (Better REspiratory and Airway Treatment and HEalth in Cerebral Palsy) Research Team. She is a lead author of the Consensus Statement for the Prevention and Management of Respiratory Illness in Cerebral Palsy and CPI of RESP-ACT - a trial investigating implementation of the consensus statement to improve respiratory outcomes in children with CP. BREATHE-CP were finalists in the 2023 WA Health Excellence Awards in Research and Innovation. Noula’s contribution to research in cerebral palsy was recognized as a finalist in the 2023 Research Australia Awards Health Services Research Category.
