I have been always fascinated by the complexity of the brain, and I turned this curiosity into my field of study, achieving a Master degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Padova (Italy), during which I was granted an Erasmus study program in the Netherlands and a master thesis internship in Austria. After my graduation, I moved to Leuven (Belgium), where I am currently a PhD researcher in Biomedical Sciences within the framework of the ITN PARENT2020 project. My research aims to investigate the brain damage underlying visual and visuomotor impairments in children with unilateral cerebral palsy by integrating different methods such as clinical assessments, structural and diffusion MRI, and robotic and eye-tracker technology.
