Dr Katarina Ostojic is a Research Fellow with the Community Paediatrics Research Group.
Katarina is a mixed-methods researcher with a keen interest in integrated health-psychological-social care models for children and young people at risk of /with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families.
Katarina is passionate about working in partnership with health end-users, particularly people with lived experience of neurodevelopmental disability, to co-design novel interventions and then deliver innovative solutions through clinical research. Her research has a strong focus on addressing inequities in health care and supporting young people and their families to improve their mental health, psychosocial functioning, and participation.
Dr Ostojic completed her PhD with The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Clinical School, The University of Sydney. Her thesis explored pain management in children with cerebral palsy, with specific focus on the role of non-pharmacological interventions.
