About this speaker

Jean Anne Zollars, PT, DPT, MA, BI-D treats children and adults in her private practice in Albuquerque, NM, integrating manual therapy, neurodevelopmental treatment, and seating/mobility. She received her BS from Ithaca College, MA in Rehabilitation Technology from San Francisco State University, and a DPT from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Guided by the question, “is there more we can do to help children?”, she discovered Visceral Manipulation in 1991 and began teaching with the Barral Institute in 2004. She now teaches Visceral and Neuromeningeal Manipulation, and Visceral Applications for Pediatrics, both in the USA and internationally. She recently published Pediatric Manual Therapy: Visceral and Neuromeningeal Manipulation. She is the researcher and one of the authors of Visceral and Neural Manipulation in Children with Cerebral Palsy and Chronic Constipation: Five Case Reports published in 2018 and Neural and Visceral Manipulation in Infants with Congenital Muscular Torticollis: A Feasibility Study” published in 2019.
