About this speaker
C Jane Burrows, PT, DPT, HPCS – Raised on a dairy farm run by teams of Belgians
and Percherons, Jane began her understanding of horses at the age of two. Learning
them from the ground up she brings a unique perspective to her Physical Therapy
practice specializing in the use of the purposeful movement of the horse to address her
client’s needs. Furthering her interest in how the movement can effectively change the
course of development of such a wide variety of impairments, she turned to brain
research, neuroscience and physics. As a lifelong learner, linking these areas of study
has been satisfying - but teaching others about the possibilities of the connections is
life sustaining.
