About this speaker

Deidre has practiced as a Speech Language Pathologist for over 30 years. She is licensed to practice in both the provinces of Ontario and Newfoundland, Canada. She has been a Part-Time Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University for the last seven years. Together with colleagues, Deidre has published assessment tools, treatment tools and information programs in an effort to have people appreciate and respect the importance of communication in the real world.
